Caterpillar C18 Diesel Generator Set
A packager needed a standby generator set for a mining customer and asked IMP to find a reliable standby diesel generator set. The unit had to have the capability of being operated under harsh arctic condition. The unit will be serving as prime power at the arctic exploration camp. IMP found a C18 generator set with the ratings of 600kW, 900HP, 60Hz, and 480V. IMP also custom upgraded the enclosure to the customer’s requirements.
