A midstream company based in Texas contacted IMP Corporation looking for equipment to be the main source of power for their natural gas treatment facility. Based on the business plan forecast an increase of 4.6 megawatts in power production need was projected, so it was determined that a turbine plant solution would be the best fit. IMP Corporation had a Solar Centaur 50 turbine generator set available in its inventory that satisfied the needs of the midstream project. The turbine was thoroughly inspected, safely repackaged and delivered on schedule to the customer’s treatment facility in Texas.
