After several years of global marketing expansion, Industrial Motor Power Corporation (IMP) has been highlighted by Inc. Magazine as one of America’s 5,000 fastest growing companies—a list that has included the likes of Microsoft, Under Armour, and Oracle. For the last 17 years, IMP has been identified as one of North America’s largest independent suppliers of new, surplus, and used power solutions with broad capabilities spanning all major verticals. In this time, IMP has amassed a wide range of notable clients such as BP, Chevron, NASA Jet Propulsion, and Duke Energy to name a few.

In 2015 IMP’s CEO, Nicholas Nadjarian, made the decision to expand their already-global reach by developing a marketing department centered on end-user outreach and worldwide relations. In these efforts, IMP has almost doubled its client foot-print, and proven an ability to not only handle large power plant acquisitions, but also secure lower-scale power solutions from independent oil & gas drilling to single-vessel marine propulsion.

“I am pleased with IMP’s foundation,” notes IMP founder and Board Director, Harry Nadjarian, “though I am especially proud of the continued innovation Nicholas brings to the company.”

Harry Nadjarian has been a transformative leader for several years. 40 years ago Nadjarian revived Western Diesel Inc, which we now know as Industrial Motor Power Corporation. Nadjarian purchased a 50 % stake in the then-failing remanufacturing company and after successful growth and progression due to his mounting experience, he leveraged majority ownership of the organization. Nadjarian continued to expand operations and increase the organization’s earnings and is now witnessing the very same success from his son and CEO, Nicholas Nadjarian.

So, under the guidance of two generations, IMP has become the industry leading supplier of new-surplus & used power generation equipment.  With that success, the company is proud to be honored by Inc. Magazine as one of America’s 5,000 fastest growing companies.
