A rental company in Minnesota was looking for a high-hour CAT XQ800 to rebuild and add to their fleet. Caterpillar discontinued the XQ800 model, so they rarely show up in the marketplace, and owners are reluctant to sell. IMP examined its rental subsidiary’s fleet on the East Coast, and reached an agreement to release one of its XQ800 power modules for sale to the client.
