A Guatemalan sugar mill needed a replacement generator set due to engine failure. To ensure the mill remained operational during harvest and the fabrication process would remain functional, IMP was engaged to assist. There were strict specifications for the replacement equipment including a minimum requirement of 1500 KW Prime capacity and mandatory 4160 voltage. Additionally, the client needed switchgear and an enclosure for the unit. IMP located a unit that met all required specifications which was previously deployed as a backup generator at an international airport. IMP immediately delivered the unit ahead of the client’s deadline.
