A midwestern Caterpillar rental group inquired about a 1MW CAT Power Module with low hours to purchase for their fleet. It was difficult for IMP to locate any rental equipment at this time, since most were being utilized for Hurricane Season. An APS1000 that fit the client’s specifications was identified as currently in use at another rental firm. In order to acquire the unit, IMP arranged a trade for one of its 1.5MW units as a replacement, then delivered the newly-acquired module to its midwestern
customer.
