Caterpillar C280-12 Generator Set
IMP acquired a CAT C280-12 engine, KATO Alternator, Amercool Radiator, Easton Motor Control Center, and an Air Starter to be used as a Blackstart Power Plant. Due to the size and weight of the components, it required custom elements to be constructed in order for the generator sets to be properly integrated into the plant. IMP provided a complete packaged, ready to be installed, power plant. The plant was shipped from its California assembly location to the Middle East.
